Army ROTC consists of classroom instruction, a physical fitness training program, and weekly labs that provide hands-on leadership developmental training.
There are also training opportunities available to cadets during the summer. These range from basic and advanced level camps to US Army training schools where cadets can earn coveted military badges. Cadets can also participate in internships and study abroad programs that encourage cultural awareness and develop language skills.
Along with the financial incentives and leadership training during college, cadets can pursue a career upon graduation and commission. Whether they serve their minimum service commitment or stay until retirement, they can benefit from the leadership experience and connections made in ROTC and the military.
